Code requirementIn order to receive the 2 additional points during inspection the facility is required to have at least one certified manager employed. NC is attempting to have mandatory manager certification requirements in place by 2010.

Hours of Instruction12 hours to qualify for 2 point bonus on inspection (Online cannot be used for the 2-point bonus program)

Certification RenewalEvery 3 years in order to receive the 2 addtional points- requirements vary at jurisdictional level

MiscellaneousCertification not required at state level. The following cities/counties requrie manager certification, Alleghany, Appalachia, Cumberland, Nash, Greensboro and Mecklenburg
