Examinees requiring Readers are encouraged to use Text-to-speech applications during the exam if that would be sufficient to accommodate the examinee. However, if examinees do require a Reader/Scribe and/or Foreign Language Translator for an Online Proctored exam through Proctor U, they may request this via the normal exam accommodation request or request for foreign language processes.
Examinees should make clear on the request form that are utilizing the Online Proctoring delivery method, and also that they will be using an in-person Reader/Scribe and/or Foreign Language Translator. Once approved, the examinee will receive confirmation of pre-approval of the exam accommodations, or further instructions for obtaining pre-approval of the exam accommodations with Proctor U.
